I am a little on the quirky side. I grew up fairly conventionally, but somewhere along the line, I took a detour, then another, and then another. Now, here I am at 55, politically somewhat liberal, religiously a Pagan, and yet socially shy.
I love to read and play computer games. I knit and talk to my two wonderful daughters on the telephone.

I've never done any social dancing, and I'd love to learn. It's a long story about why I've never done any social dancing, but if you're willing to read this, I'm willing to share the first part of the story.
My high school didn't have school dances; instead, students could join segregated clubs for dancing. I was against segregation, so I didn't go to any dances. In college, I went to a Southern Baptist school, and dances were not approved of.
