I am a little on the quirky side. I grew up fairly conventionally, but somewhere along the line, I took a detour, then another, and then another. Now, here I am at 55, politically somewhat liberal, religiously a Pagan, and yet socially shy.
I love to read and play computer games. I knit and talk to my two wonderful daughters on the telephone.

My high school didn't have school dances; instead, students could join segregated clubs for dancing. I was against segregation, so I didn't go to any dances. In college, I went to a Southern Baptist school, and dances were not approved of.

I'm looking for someone with the ability to be a companion and partner. Some men want to automatically fix everything for a woman. At times, I want a helper and a listener, but I don't need or want to be fixed. I want someone to hold me during the bad times and celebrate with me during the good times. I want someone who is comfortable with touching and being touched.
