Since I hope to make an actual connection, I won't skimp on the info; or the honesty and realism.I'm at that age where it is just plain difficult to meet people, meet quality people that are in the same place in their lives as myself. Overall I am pretty grounded, am a goofball - complete with wit and topped off with slick sarcasm. I have a great family and a close group of friends. As cheesy as this may sound, I feel that my best attributes come from within. I pride myself on having a strong character, an equally strong sense of loyalty, good morals and my own identity. I'm responsible and hardworking, but I still know how to have fun. I'm respectful and considerate, and I expect the same from others. I'm compassionate and understanding, but have a low tolerance for stupidity. I'm a traditionalist, yet my mind is always open. I firmly believe in the power of communication. When I'm with someone I'm always in tune, I pay attention, retain, understand the meaning of things and never take the "good stuff" for granted. I'm affectionate (not clingy) and my romantic nature is genuine. As for marriage? For me, first and foremost, it's always been about finding the right person. My expectations are realistic, I've never had a problem with commitment and I'm exceedingly loyal. It just seems that the concept of a healthy relationship is lost on most.I want more than just a warm body, an additional income and a ring on my finger. I want something real - with someone who IS real. I'm not perfect by any means...I have flaws just like everyone does, but any flaws are shadowed out by all of the positive offerings I have.
