Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som

I'm an educator of 20 years, first in higher education and now in elementary education. I grew up here in Milw. but have lived all over the US and even abroad. I can be silly or serious, shy or outgoing. I work in urban education and purposely chose to do so. I love the richness of the diversity of the children I teach.

OK, this is boring. I hate writing these things! :) I'm back in Milwaukee after many years away and looking for a way to meet men - being in a mostly female work environment. I have dated a little in the past couple of years, but have found men who are so focused on work that they have little time for dating. I love to swim - or play in the water - my personal vacation fantasy is to live on a lake and be able to do nothing but lay on a raft and float the lake for the summer. Or - right now I'd love to do a tubing trip or hang out on a boat for the day. One of the most defining experiences in my life was living in Germany for 2 years. It gave me a totally new perspective on being American (both + and -) and a love for travel. I've moved so often during my professional career that it is sometimes hard to stay still here in Milwaukee, but I love the familiarity of the city and the possibility of running into people from my past. I thought I would love being close to my siblings too, but that is only sometimes true! LOL I want to spend time with someone who is truly interested in a relationship where there is both give and take. (I KNOW - I used the R word) I'm not looking for a LTR with everyone I meet but am ultimately interested in finding a life partner.
