To be perfectly honest, right at this moment in time, my life is in a bit of a shambles. Due to unfortunate circumstances and poor life choices, I find myself at a point where I am trying to rebuild my life. I'm starting a new career (as a nursing assistant, with eyes to go to school to be a full RN in the future), so that keeps my busy. I rent my place, don't have a car (big fan of either public transit or just plain walking) though I may break down and change that in the future. My life is right now, where it SHOULD have been about 20 years ago, which is more than a little bit humiliating - plus I don't know how great a "catch" I am (apologies for the cliche)
Now I know anyone who is reading this is going to be totally infatuated at this point LOL. I mean, a 40+ guy who's chubby, bespectacled, car-less and bald? Obviously I am going to be fighting ladies off with a stick! ;)
But in quasi-serious tone, I am kind, patient and easy-going (or at least I think I am - it's so weird writing these things). I am definitely pretty heavily into the whole "geek" scene, with a love of fantasy/sci-fi/superhero books and movies. I will play a video game on occasion, but my true passion is actual physical games where a bunch of friends gather around a table, socialize and roll fist fulls of dice. If forced to list more "good qualities", I suppose that I would say that I am warm-hearted and affectionate, loyal and caring, honest and smart (all that seems like bragging to me - how I hate filling these things out
