it's hard to believe that this is the way to go about meeting people, but it seems like the bumping into a stranger and striking up a conversation which leads to coffee or something doesn't happen anymore in my life anyway, and i'm not ready to give up on the dating thing, so...here i am. i like to think of myself as easy going, easy to get along with and pretty understanding. i work with kids and i love it. i've never been marrried and don't have any kids of my own, but would certinally welcome them if they are part of your life. i really enjoy the outdoors, especially anywhere near water, with the ocean being my favorite place. i wish our beautiful oregon coast was a bit warmer to play in the waves...that's the kid in me. i like camping and sitting out by the campfire. i have no desire to run marathons, bike to the coast or climb a mountain, but i do enjoy walks in the park, along the waterfront, traipsing thru the woods to find a waterfall..all good. i love to cook and try to take cooking classes when i travel to different places. i've been to 37 states so far, ireally need to hit the southwest sometime, but find i prefer green beauty and oceans. i grew up on the east coast but really like the laid back atmosphere of oregon. i've only been in portland for 7 months and love all the different things it has to do, but very much want someone to share it all with, to hold hands while checking out saturday market, sharing an ice cream cone or cup of coffee, kisses for no apparent reason. surely there is a man out there that is ready for a drama free, fun loving normal kind of lady. i know it isn't always easy or perfect, but i am willing to compromise and will do my part in building a honest, faithful relationship. good bad and ugly, i want my best friend that i get to see naked! ok, well, that gives you a little idea about me, i hope it's enough to make you want to taske the time to be in touch and get to know me better. i look forward to meeting positive, fun men who are ready to give it a try. good luck with your searches.

someone who is happy with their lives, has a positive attitude and can make me laugh. i need someone who is able to communicate..my mind reading skills are lacking. since my job entails me being in charge all the time i would prefer to be with someone who is open to taking that over. i'm glad to contribute to plans, but don't always leave it up to me.
