I enjoy all kinds of music, concerts, festivals, spending time with family, just being happy in the moment. I love the beach, water, boats, learning to become more comfortable snorkeling. I also like the mountains, hiking, camping, BBQ's. Watching the Blue Angels fly, the occasional Blue Wahoo's game, Bands on the Beach, SEC football (Roll Tide), and some NFL games. I have a good sense of humor and am easy to get along with, easy to talk to. I love laughter and real romance. I appreciate character, integrity, and morals. Faith is an important part of who I am. I'm NOT a match for you if faith isn't important to you. I have grown children, no ex drama. Their dad died in 2004 from cancer. I was raised in Birmingham. I moved to Gulf Shores in 2004, then to Pensacola in Sept 2013. I am a small business owner, have been in the same profession for 19 years. I do volunteer work as well. I'll tell you about that later. I'm looking for a man who is down to earth, secure in who he is, has a sense of humor, takes care of himself, likes the outdoors. He is family oriented, funny, loyal, honest, romantic (really). He is a peace seeker. Someone I can be friends with and see what happens from there. The goal is to find a forever relationship with the one person that understands me. We appreciate each other, accept each other, we're each others best supporters, and partners. Life changed when I started seeing opportunity in challenges and noticing beauty in so-called imperfections. Looking at daily gifts rather than what is missing, increases my positive perspective. Life has taught me the lessons of communication, empathy, forgiveness, laughter, and optimism. Still there is more to learn... At this point, I know myself and what I like. I enjoy time alone and respect a person's need for autonomy. Above all else, relationships with friends and family are valued. A sense of humor and flexibility are traits I cultivate and seek in others. Sometimes I may ask too many questions and think too much as I curious about all. I enjoy browsing in art galleries and bookstores and exploring nature. I write daily and have a book surfacing. The mountains are a favorite getaway. Music, comedy, and children lift my spirits. Activities such as walking and yoga keep me fit. If you are a man, who enjoys laughter and has the ability to laugh at yourself and believes hope exists and seeks to keep life interesting then maybe and...? My goal is to find one partner. I'm active , spiritual, healthy and enjoy life. I enjoy yoga, meditation and being outside. I love spending time with friends and family too. I'm looking for someone who is kind, honest, healthy and compassionate. I'm very happy and am not looking for someone to complete me. I just want to enjoy life with another person. I love my kids and they are very important to me. If you are newly divorced, I don't think I'm the match for you. I've done casual dating and I suppose it's necessary at first. However, I 'm wanting to move past that into something more substantial when the timing is right. Friends and family would discribe as honest, loving and very family oriented. I have three amazing boys, 11 year old at home and my two older boys are grown and out on their own enjoying the college life. Working in retail for 27 years has given me not only a retirement but the opportunity to travel and live in some amazing places New York, Boca Raton, San Francisco, Chicago, Cincinnati, Texas and Oregon. My travels allowed me to meet a lot of diverse and amazing people from all walks of life. My life journeys have fueled a desire to travel more!! I'm Native American with strong cultural ties. My person of interest would be someone who loves to travel, is financially stable, appreciate nature, honest, kind at heart, romantic. and must have a sense of humor. My friends consider me fun and outgoing. I enjoy doing just about anything from camping to digging my toes into the sand at the beach
