I'm 23 years old, live in the Washington, DC area and work in downtown DC. I love to smile and laugh, but enjoy being serious and having intelligent conversation just as much as I enjoy being silly. I'm quiet until you get to know me. I am one of those people who likes to learn little bits of everything... I watch Jeopardy like it's my job and it excites me to get the right answers.

My friends (as well as a lot of people I don't really know) describe me as sweet, endearing, and the kind of person who is always willing to go the extra mile to help someone out. I'm hard-working but I know how to relax. I'm not much for going out to bars and clubs and such but when I do go out somewhere I know how to have fun (and keep my dignity, lol).

Basically, I'm the kind of girl that your mom dreamed of you ending up with. I'm smart (or at least I like to think so), I have a good head on my shoulders, I don't play games, I'm honest, I'm loyal... and I'm a good cook. :)

This is a really hard question to answer because as cliche as it sounds, it really does depend on the person. Dinner and a movie may be perfect with one person but going to a gallery opening or something may be perfect with someone else, while a picnic at the beach may be perfect with yet someone else. Really, I'm down for whatever as long as we are both into it and it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other.

Sushi. I eat maki rolls all the time but even then it's usually just the super lame veggie rolls or california rolls. I want to try something new but I don't know where to start... I'm picky sometimes, lol. :)

To be happy with the choices I have made that lead me to whatever it is I end up doing. More tangibly, I want to have a family and be a successful wife and mother in addition. Having a good career is important to me too but I think a successful homelife is on front burner.

Spending time with people I care about, hanging out at home or going out, it doesn't matter. I'm not super outdoorsy but I love enjoying the fresh air. I'm usually found with my nose in a book of some sort.

I look for guys who know how to make me smile. It's one thing to put a smile on my face by telling a joke but to put a smile on my face by engaging me in an intelligent conversation or doing something thoughtful, or even just showing appreciation when I do something thoughtful for you (because I will -- that's just who I am). I'm looking for someone I can be close to, someone I can be just as comfortable saying nothing to as I can having an in-depth or goofy conversation. Most importantly, honesty, sincerity, and NO DRAMA!
