Myself, I wouldn't count an initial meet as that would be best as a coffee... for reasons I am sure I don't have to explain.
After that, I would enjoy many things such as dinner and a play, mini golf... anything that involves getting to know someone better. Movies are great, but I think best left for later dates as you can't talk and don't get to know someone by watching a movie with them.
I'm curious to hear ideas and look foreward especially the creative responses. Certainly could be a challenge coming up with fun and interesting things to do out with someone while getting to know them.
