How I long to pamper a terrific guy! Looking for a smart fellow of good character for stimulating conversation, someone who makes me light up when he walks into a room.
Me? How people think, grow and cope with their world intrigues me. I like to travel -- it opens up new cultures and ideas, but life is best when balanced with peaceful time at home or in the garden. Playing with my two "puppers" and spending time with family is important to me. I have learned that people who are kind are usually both strong and honest. I am an avid reader of many different genres (except for romance novels - ugh) but I especially enjoy quirky novels with in-depth character development.
I believe friendship is the foundation of a good relationship. Ok, that may be a cliche, but I've never known a couple to make it who weren't true friends fundamentally.
Second thing to know is that you don't have to be tall, dark, and handsome. I am looking for a smart guy of solid character who shares my love of books and has the same sense of curiosity about life.
Overall, life is good, and I am ready to share it with someone special.

Devotion. My wise sister-in-law used to say that if you have devotion, everything else will follow. Given the depth of her marriage, it must be a principle that works. Kindness and a lively sense of humor are important, too. I really would love it if my man was a fellow bookworm!
