Okay, here goes…… I have raised two boys into wonderful men whom I love dearly, have three adorable grandsons, two cats, and a college education. I consciously stay humble in life and pride myself on being self-aware. We all have issues, it’s just a matter of knowing what they are and working through them. I am not religious, but believe that God is in all things and that LOVE is what is most important in life. I work in the mental health profession, so I have a deep compassion for people. I am looking for someone with substance and a relationship that is not just based on superficial things such as physical appearance. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe physical attraction is important, but a meaningful relationship should be built on more than that. I am from Italian decent, born in Brooklyn, New York. I appreciated all cultures and enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I think humor is a wonderful thing in life and enjoy those that can appreciate it as well as use it. I love deep, meaningful conversations, 60’s music, walks on the beach (or anywhere, for that matter), good food, dancing, bowling, and hiking. I love my job and can financially support myself. I am not looking for anyone to take care of me financially, nor am I willing to financially take care of anyone else. I’m just starting out in the dating world again and am potentially looking for a long-lasting, healthy, mature, loving relationship that begins with a friendship.
