I Would Describe Myself As
My passions are history and the sea. I'm an amateur treasure salvor, both on on dry land and beneath the sea. I'll do the historical research, then the quest is on!!! I'm a spontaneous person with varied interests, always open to new adventures. An "off the beaten path" type of person, with an extremely quirky sense of humor, I'm right at home whether I'm on safari in Africa, on a sunken German U-Boat, on the beach during a thunderstorm, at the theater/museum, or snuggled on my couch with my one and only and a DVD. I prefer the outdoors-boating, kayaking, hiking, playing in, on, around, and under the water. However, sometimes I'll admit, it is hard to pry me away from the couch if an old Bogie movie is on. I have done quite a bit of traveling and can't wait to see the rest of the world!!!
I am really just looking for someone who is funny, adventurous, eager to learn about new things, romantic, loving and even a bit nutty!! It isn't always about looks, although there must be a physical attraction, it is the soul inside I am seeking-a one woman man who wishes to share life, and the activities we both enjoy. Someone who can go hiking across Civil War battlefields in one trip, and stay at a 5 star hotel and see a Broadway show on the next. A partner in the search for that elusive piece of lost history. The time in between is ours to have a home-to simply grill by the pool, go to the beach, and enjoy each other as best friends. Although I am looking for my one and only, I am very content to wait for him and will never settle. Just the same, I will not tolerate anyone just settling for me. We need to share a chemistry and a passion for each other. I am not looking for anything that I will not give back in abundance.
