I am a contradiction in terms. I am independent but I understand that only the weak are an island to themselves, I am strong but welcome the support of true friends, I was once a romantic but a bit of that has been lost to cynicism... I'm hoping I can find that part of myself again. An introverted extrovert, sometimes hard edged but generally ruled by my soft heart. I'm an old soul with often youthful naivete.

I can't say that I'm here looking for something particular. I think the greatest encounters are the ones you don't expect or plan. I'd like to find a friend but I'm open to whatever beauty destiny has for me.
I'm tall (5'7") and full figured (or I guess I wouldn't be on here) but not sloppy. I'm also actively applying myself to losing some weight so don't get used to the picture! (35 pounds and counting)
I love to write (novel in progress), read, spend time with my daughter (who is by far the most beautiful little genius I've ever met!) and generally enjoy life when time permits. I'm a spiritual person so if you question His existence...it's been nice meeting you but you'd probably better keep it movin'. No offense but faith is one of the only things that keeps me afloat sometimes...and you can't really know who you are if you don't believe in where you came from.

That all depends on who you're with. By that I mean...anything can be fun with the right person.
