I'm a pretty simple laid back kind of guy. I'm looking for a friend first. Maybe more later. In my free time I watch tv/movies, listen to music, read, and research various topics. I used to be really be into crafting (yes, really..) but I don't have time for it these days.


I don't really go to clubs or bars or places like that very often. Ok, never. ha. This isn't really the kind of environment I thrive in but I'm not totally closed to going to such a place with someone.


I'm both a night owl and an early bird. It's 3:39AM right now when I'm updating my profile. The nature of my work affords me the option to sleep or work when I like so I've been known to keep some strange hours.


I exercise 5-7 days a week for 90 minutes a day. I've lot a LOT of weight over the past year and it's steadily continuing to come off. Maybe another year and I'll be at my target weight of 200lbs or so. I have a treadmill that I use for my primary exercise. I've been thinking about joining a gym but I haven't decided. A gym buddy might be nice.


I'm looking for someone who is also laid back and would be happy going to movies, out to dinner or just to walk around Walmart and talk. I'm not "rowdy". I like quiet peaceful things.

If you like computers/technology or specifically website development that would be nice.

I would like to meet someone who is easy to talk to and get along with; someone who has her own opinions but would be open to mine, and me to hers. My sense of humor can be a bit dry at times. I can be sarcastic but I can dial it back depending on who I'm talking to.

I have to be able to have an extended conversation with someone. I enjoying talking about things I know and also learning about new things.

I'd like someone who will voice her own opinions but at the same time not be totally closed down to mine.

Funny, quirky, weird, geeky, nerdy. These are words that might describe someone I'd like.

If you look good, that is a bonus. Good looks can only go so far in a longer relationship though.
