If my friends had to describe me, they would probably say I’m the shy and retiring type, then they would laugh their backsides off and say actually she’s very confident, she can be a complete fruit loop who likes to embrace her inner child whenever she can, she’s always there for me and is extremely loyal. My mantra would probably be life is too short not to enjoy whatever you’re doing, and it takes more muscles to frown than to smile!

Respect and manners cost nothing, and I can never see the point in people who lie, or pretend to be something they aren’t. I’m very down to earth, little phases me and I take everything in my stride and have been told I am the eternal optimist. I like traditional values, in myself as well as others, but I also a modern woman – I can even check my own tyre pressure when needed!! My humour is probably best described as sarcastically flirtatious, but I warn you now I can’t tell a joke and make it funny if my life depended on it!!!

I like the company of friends, going out to the cinema, the pub, the odd walk in the country (as long as the pub is at the end of it!), the theatre, comedy, reading, art (but I have no talent), photography (again talentless) and swimming. But I am open minded and willing to try anything once (within reason – I would never jump out of a perfectly good plane)

He would have to be someone who was similar in nature to me I think!! I’d like to see that he doesn’t take life too seriously ALL the time, and can either act a little silly or laugh at himself on the odd occasion… He would need to be confident and not shy away from taking the lead, as I find this incredibly sexy. A man who likes the romance side to a relationship as well as everything else that goes with the package of being someone, who isn’t worried about holding hands or kissing in public. Someone I could call my friend, my partner, my equal, my lover…
