Hoping for laughter and love

I Would Describe Myself As

I love to travel. I'm particularly fond of finding museums (usually art, natural history, or science museums), planetariums, parks, aquariums, zoos, and amusement parks that I haven't been to (though I'll admit it, Disneyland is my personal favorite, despite the crowds). This goes hand in hand with my love of photography, to record the things I see and experience as it's happening. If I'm at home I'm usually reading, or I might be painting (badly - but I enjoy doing it, so...), playing old video games, or sending snarky messages to my closest friends. (Or, you know, sleeping. I've been known to do that on occasion.)

It's important to me that whoever I'm with has a good sense of humor, gets that my family is exceptionally important to me, and respects the fact that I refuse to be someone's doormat (relationships are supposed to be partnerships, in my opinion). I also think it's important that the person I'm with not be afraid to talk to me if they think I'm wrong about something, can respect my opinions as I respect theirs, and wants to get out and enjoy life.
