My career of 30 years allowed me to call various locations along the Eastern Seaboard home, the last being Florida. While most people of our generation see this as the ideal place to spend their golden years, I chose instead to return to New England to be closer to family and friends.I am outgoing, optimistic and a very good listener. I consider myself to be a kind, affectionate and nurturing individual. I like to think I have a sense of humor and am fun to be with (time will tell)I am officially retired, financially secure and currently have a flexible part time job which I thoroughly enjoy. I like to travel and tend to favor vacationing on some tropical island. I spend a good bit of time camping (not in a tent). I am an avid crossword puzzle fan, take pleasure in gardening, like to entertain and very often appreciate a good book.At this stage of my life I’m not sure what I’m looking for. I just know that as I move through the remaining years I’d like to have someone to share some if not all of what life still has to offer.
