I am a single mom of a 7-year-old son, who makes me a little crazy at times. Ok a lot crazy, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
I work full time so I don't have much ME time. Much of what I do is centered on what a child can participate in. We do what most people do. Go to the movies, DVD’s at home. Occasional dinner out, (when I just don’t feel like cooking.) I like the beach in the summer, and crabbing. Bowling is fun, basketball, football, and trips to the park in the spring and summer.
As for me, I am an outspoken, honest, dependable person. You will find me to be quite a caring and nurturing person. I do for others before I do for myself. I love attention. Not in the sense of being the center of attention, but having that special person do the simplest of things that he knows I will hold dear to me. That’s not to say that the bigger things are not appreciated, but the little things are what keeps me going.
I live by the old adage, of: Do onto others as you would have done onto you. I also believe that everything happens for a reason and that every person that comes into our life serves a purpose. Whether it be a good experience or a bad one, there was something learned.
My past experiences have taught me what I want and don't want in a relationship. As for me, I feel as though both people in a relationship need to be accountable for their time. That does not mean they have to be "lo-jacked", but accountable. I would also like someone who is financially responsible. Do not confuse that with financially wealthy. Just make sure you know how to manage what you have.
Let me also say that if you are not able to consider that my time is not just mine because I am a single mom in every sense of the word, the perhaps I am not who you are looking for. This does not mean I cannot make time, but consider the FACT that it will not always be just me.
