Im an artisan hippy chick, an intelligent, cultured primitive of these modern times - a handspinner, weaver, seamstress, soap and candlemaker and musician; I have been playing bass since I was 15. I grow wildflowers & a garden. I am an artisan/musician and I have an artisan's temperament...sometimes fiery, sometimes dreamy, always creative, and very deep and intense. I am a nice person but Im definitely NOT a pushover. I'm NOT afraid to speak up and put someone offensive in check. I am extremely direct - sometimes frighteningly so. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I am an early retiree, so I get to do as I please these days....like the SCA, Rendezvous and making music. I enjoy camping, researching history (kind of a requirement for enjoying the SCA!), large bodies of water and walking barefoot in the sand, crawling through junkyards, second hand stores, flea markets, taking long drives and digging up cool plants to bring home to my yard - I enjoy spending time with good friends, great conversation. I enjoy spending time on my front porch with my spinning wheel, a loom or my bass, watching the sun go down and the little brown bats and fireflies come out at night; a good cup of tea or coffee and beautiful mornings.
