I am a NY Yankee but South Carolina is my home. I love the south, especially the weather. It takes me to beautiful beaches in the summer and the mountains in the fall. This is the time of the year when we have crazy thunderstorms! I love the sound of rain, the flashes of lightning and the booms of the thunder. I never mind it when I get caught in a downpour.
I am an elementary teacher. I just completed my 4th year in the classroom and have been in education for many years prior. Saying goodbye to my class at the end of the year is very hard. I work hard to make a difference in their lives, I know they do for me! I am currently in grad school in the middle of my 8th class (out of 10) and still holding a 4.0! Looking forward to graduation at the end of October!
I love music and I am always listening to it. My tastes vary depending on what I am doing or the mood I am in. I love to go dancing, listening to live, local music, or just in the car with the radio blasting my favorites. I'm not a huge country music fan but I do enjoy many of the songs.
Since my life changed directions three years ago, I like the person I have become, stronger, confident, self-sufficient, happy but I am still missing that someone to share it all with.
