I believe that women should be treated with respect. Having been raised down south where there is a certain code of conduct that learn(or thumped into your head when you don’t). You open doors, pull out chairs, say yes and no ma’am or sir, never hit a women and compliment them regularly.
If you have ever listen to blues, jazz, rock and roll, bluegrass or enjoyed just having a great time just being. If you have ever laughed out loud at yourself, stopped for furry critters and maybe adopted one in need of help. Not that I am a tree hugger, ok not that often, though they are handy for balance. I like animals, more importantly they like me. I am built like a football player and have played, have spent time rounding my education. Back when a Liberal Arts degree meant you would be able to apply what you learned to where ever you are. With that foundation I have continued to learn every day.
I enjoy music, almost all kinds and am open to listen to new stuff. I have played in a symphony, show bands, marching bands, bluegrass bands, I have performed on stage both theater and vocally. I am handy in a kitchen and not afraid to plan and prepare a dinner party, even known to do an ice sculpture. I paint with water color, oils and other mediums. I have sculpted in stone, wood, plastic and paper.
I enjoy travel, spontaneous activities, live performances, dressing up or down and have no problem driving all night just to watch the sunrise on a new horizon. I like to help people, I tutor, and volunteer and even do taxes for those who have difficulty.
I would like to meet someone who enjoys conversation, travel, spending time with a throw back from a more peaceful age. Still open to try something new, love both the complex and the simple things in life. I don’t smoke but won’t hassle you if you do. I drink so rarely that it easier to say I don’t, but have no problem being a designated driver. Someone who is interested in life.
First meetings are normally best in a comfortable environment, since I am pretty comfortable where ever I am, I am flexible.
