I've always consider myself as a study in contrast. I'm fiercely independent, having worked my through 26+ years of government service.

I know I can take care of myself and those in my care -but a deep part of my psyche cries out at what I'm making it do., "Why do you always have to be alone, When everyone else has another"


I'm a woman that's just as flawed as the next person, but I spend everyday trying to make this a better world despite my flaws.

I had as much heartache and pain as the next person but within all this turmoil of my life I've never experienced love. Not from my parents, a sibling, boyfriend or either of my two husbands.

This is a pie in the sky wish... To be jetted to another city and have dinner at a lovely restaurant, followed by dancing. Nothing dancing, dancing at a country bar would be lovely. Been so long since I've been to one.
