I am a smart, funny, well read, lover of the arts. I am snarky, sarcastic, a political junkie, sometimes a little obtuse and a very passionate woman. I like classic rock, 80s new age, Pasty Cline, Eric Clapton, The Who and Queen. My favorite song is "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum, a one hit wonder from the sixties. I love the guitar. Whenever it comes on the radio, I close the windows to my van and crank it and sing at the top of my lungs. I do that with "Back in Black" by AC/DC, too. I was a theater major in college so I love live theater. I also enjoy movies, nature walks, live sporting events, museums, comedy clubs, dancing and quiet nights spent at home with a man who loves me. I am a great cook and I am horrible at math. I love time spent with family and friends and also nights spent out on the town. I love a good joke but I can't seem to remember any. I love my two children like crazy and feel so privileged to be raising them. I lost my husband last year so I'm it. I am working on a business plan and hope to open next year. What's really cool is that it's actually going to happen. I have so much to be thankful for. I have wonderful loving family and friends. I wont for nothing materially. I am just missing the feeling of being wanted, desired and loved by a good man and to be able to return those feelings. So, I have joined this website and a couple more in the hopes of making a connection.

Ultimately, what I am looking for is a long term relationship with a man who is tall, healthy, happy, financially secure, degreed, loving, caring, funny and kind. Now really, is that too much to ask? He doesn't smoke at all or drink a lot, he doesn't ride a motorcycle, hang out in bars or play golf all weekend. He likes being with an intelligent and inquisitive woman who can spout trivia, general knowledge and speak from an informed position about politics all day. He loves the physical side of a relationship, too. And would rather spend all day behind closed doors with me than anything else. He respects the fact that I am a single woman raising two children who has to make all the decisions for her family. He likes the fact that I also enjoy silky things and heels and perfume and all the accoutrement that goes with being a very feminine and sensual woman.
