Me describiría a mi mismo como
Passion urges your dreams to become a reality. That's the way I've always believed, and until not too long ago, I had placed all of my own dreams on hold. I've found my reason to become the vibrant and passionate woman I am again, and I couldn't be more pleased.
Others would describe me as the mothering type, long before I ever became a mother. I take people under my wing, pushing my own feelings and needs aside for whatever is needed for others. I would tell you that it is just who I am, to take care of the ones that are closest to me. I love to do outward expressions of my affection for the people that I care for, just to make them feel better.
I'm overly proud and greatly protective of my two young children, as I am the only parent they have to lean on. They have taught me many important life lessons, and every time I look into their innocent eyes, I know what I need to do and how I need to love.
When I think of a potential mate coming into my life, I have to consider them coming into my children's at some point as well. I will be honest that that is intimidating to me, but it also is something that I am moving forward with. I am not asking for anyone to take over any roles in my children's lives, even though they would be involved. I would never be so assuming. I'm just testing out the waters, and as a single parent, it's difficult to get out sometimes so I figured I would give this a try.
When I am looking for someone, I look for someone that is loyal and honest, and can handle my complete and sometimes brutal honesty as well. Someone who is laid back enough to deal with the different swings of emotion I sometimes go through, but has a firm enough grip to tell me when enough is enough. Someone who loves to laugh, and likes to make others laugh too. A homebody, but doesn't mind going out on occasion too.
