I Would Describe Myself As

I am a gentle spirit, slow to anger. I am kind, compassionate, and giving. I’m not judgemental and I embrace the differences in people. I see people like flowers, each with their own individual characteristics and beauty. I can discuss almost anything rationally. I love music, singing, dancing, theatre and creating beautiful things ( the list goes on). Also love to travel, though I haven’t been able to do it for a while.

I believe in love. I don’t believe true love has an expiration date or that a soft sweet kiss, holding hands or passion should be just reserved for the young. Now having said that, I AM NOT looking for ****(or someone to pay my bills. Let's get those things out of the way early). Friendship is important and if we should be fortunate enough to find that special mate, then WONDERFUL.

I did not answer the question about church attendance. I have a very strong belief in God and how I should live my life and *********, which is not determined by the number of times I attend church per week. The way we live our lives is a better portrait.

I enjoy good and spirited conversation. I refer to myself as “Diamonds and Bluejeans”, because I’m just as comfortable in either. You might find me at a sporting event, camping, maybe at the theatre or a ballet performance. I am comfortable in most any environment.

Complexion means little to me, I am more concerned with what is inside a person (the substance). Of course, it is nice to find each other mutually attractive but it cannot stop there. I don't wish to find a person who is the male version of me. I hope to find the Yin & Yang. In Chinese Philosophy: The two opposites of Yin and Yang attract and complement each other and, as their symbol illustrates, each side has at its core an element of the other (the same core value). Neither pole is superior to the other and, as an increase in one brings a corresponding decrease in the other, a correct balance between the two poles must be reached in order to achieve harmony and wholeness. I would like to meet "THAT" person for me.

Relocation is not out of the question, but not anytime in the immediate future. I am retired from the federal government and in the process of starting a Veteran Family Medical Foster Home.

A gentle, kind man and a gentleman that is comfortable with himself. He'd have some maturity but not be too old emotionally to still have fun, travel, be a good friend, husband/lover (if it came to that. lol), with at least some degree of financial security.
