I'm a fun, mile-a-minute type girl who's looking for a lil fun in her life. Returning to this dating thing after 15 years. Divorced mom of 2 - they're actually asking me to find a life! While I'm not looking for another husband, I would like to find that one guy who will be glad to help me forget what heartache feels like. I'll be glad to do the same. Love to do...just about anything! I've tried lots of things once: rafting, hiking, camping, etc., so I'm not a chicken! But I'm not your average sista... I do like some country music & I like Elvis (I've been to Graceland!), but I also bump Jay-Z. I pay attention to current political events, but I don't feel I need to have a super deep conversation about foreign affairs to prove I'm smart. I'm gainfully employed (thank God) so I don't need a place to stay, a ride, or a handyman. My kids father is just that...a father so I don't need a surrogate there. I just want someone who believes in romance, chivalry, and actually dating - not sitting in my house watching movies every weekend! I LOVE to cook, travel, read, & create signature mixed drinks. I quote movies ad nauseum so expect to hear random lines from Friday and The Color Purple! LOL!

I'm looking for a man who isn't afraid/too macho to be thoughtful. I'd like for a man to prove that all men don't believe chivalry or romance is dead or unnecessary. I want to know exactly how a man feels by the way he looks at me, touches my hand or face, or pays attention if I'm too cold, too hot, sleepy, anxious, nervous, etc. If he can calm me, warm me, or play in my hair until I fall asleep, he's a keeper.
